Effort in, outcome out, work hard enough and things move. That's the deal. But sometimes things just hang there. Equal force. Opposite direction. But effort and outcome are not the same thing. Never were. You can do everything right with nothing to show for it except the fact that you tried. Which the world will not be paying you for. There are two of them pulling. Wanting the exact same thing. Neither will win. Neither knows about the other. Both will probably keep pulling anyway. What do you do when you've already committed this much of yourself to a direction. The will is real. The outcome is its own thing entirely and it doesn't owe you anything. Mizuyōkaii, 2026
