Where it came from
Two different facts, both read from the chain: where I collected each piece (the marketplace I bought it on, or the auction I won) and where it was minted (the platform that created it). A piece minted on Manifold can be won on SuperRare, so these are not the same thing, and the collection tracks both.
Where I collected
The marketplace each piece actually came through: an auction won, a listing bought, a primary mint, or a gift from the artist. A preview of up to a dozen per venue.

A publishing platform where writing itself becomes the artwork: essays and posts are minted as editions, so collecting a piece means keeping a text. Born from the crypto writing world, it made the written word a first-class thing to collect.
Both axes are read from the chain. The mint transaction names the contract that created a piece (a Manifold minter, SuperRare, Transient Labs…); the transaction that delivered it here names the marketplace it came through, verified against that sale's receipt logs. Prices are kept private.
