I used to think I was only buying art I liked. Hundreds of pieces in, it looks like something else. Every choice here was instinct, and instinct repeated enough times stops being random and starts being a shape. Taken all together the collection is a kind of personal mandala: my unconscious, showing through a network of digital art I never planned but somehow always meant. It is the closest thing I have to a self-portrait, and other people painted every piece of it.
