Both of the eleven works here were won at auction on Foundation in the collection's first summer.

Lorenipsum is an Istanbul based multimedia artist. Prior to embarking on a full-time artistic journey, they earned a degree in Visual Communication Design and cultivated a career within the visual design field. Their encounter with crypto art in 2021 offered a transformative medium to articulate deep-seated inquiries into existence, time, emotion, and the fundamental question of who we truly are behind our constructed identities.
Drawing its name from the placeholder text lorem ipsum, the moniker functions as a core manifesto: an empty vessel capable of holding infinite meanings, unbound by a single persona, yet resonating with the depths of every character it inhabits.

In their work, Lorenipsum frequently features faceless figures, deliberately stripping away individual markers to invite viewers into an emotional realm free from specific affiliations. Rather than centering on personal narratives or stories, the artwork emphasizes the transmission of universal feelings that reside beneath the surface of the visible.
Emerging from fragments of memory, these compositions serve as meditations on impermanence, continually examining what remains when names, appearances, and narratives begin to fade.
Prioritizing a core philosophical inquiry over mere aesthetic convention, Lorenipsum’s practice spans a wide range of mediums experimenting with photography, digital painting, ai, frame animation, rotoscoping, collage, and acrylics, both individually and across dynamic hybrid combinations.
