A multidisciplinary mainstay of crypto art who lists his birthplace as the Internet: low-res imagery, acrylic paintings, sculpture, GIFs, editions, and the fake-card culture of the early scene. Skulls, frogs, food, trash, death, jokes, and the shifting idea of value keep coming back, and a file can become a painting in his hands. Desultor is a multidisciplinary artist who has become one of the mainstays of crypto art. Known for incorporating low resolution imagery, acrylic painting, sculpture, GIFs, editions, and the core elements of “fake-card” culture in his practice, he thrives creating work that taps directly into the very fabric of the internet and the rougher edges of crypto art.

With recurring subjects like skulls, frogs, food, trash, death, jokes, and the ever-shifting concept of value, Desultor’s work stays grounded by the tension between the digital and the tangible. A file can become a painting, a token can become an object, and a bad joke can still be made by hand. Humor is central, but never disposable; materiality matters, without denying the internet that shaped it.
The chain is part of the story. Just not the whole story.
