The Light I Dare To Hold

A poem written by me ❤️ In mist where the world feels half unknown, I stand alone, with a trembling light I hold as my own, softly shone. In my hands, something small breathes so near, fragile as hope I guard through fear, crystal-clear, yet disappears. Ahead there’s a distance calling my name, a glowing unknown, both wonder and strain, like a quiet burning flame. And behind me moves a silent trace, something that follows without a face, closing in with patient pace. So I remain where both worlds collide, between what I fear and what I hide, with no clear side. But still I walk through the shifting air, with a fading light I dare to bear, unaware, yet still I care.
