This piece is about a quiet presence rather than a story. I see her as a water spirit turned inward , not living in a river or a lake, but in an inner space made of memory, emotion, and stillness. She isn’t waiting for anything; she’s simply there, listening to herself. In Greek mythology, a Naiad is a feminine spirit connected to fresh water like ponds and springs, tied to one place and existing as long as that water exists. In this work, the water becomes symbolic. The inner sea is personal and emotional ; a place of quiet depth. This piece reflects a softer, mythic femininity that lives inward, calm and self-contained.
