Memory isn’t a flow — it’s sediment. It doesn’t pass; it settles in layers, pauses in a plane where everything has happened but nothing is truly resolved. It doesn’t live in time — it lives in a pattern. In a repeated gesture. In a line begun but never finished. We search for the past in depth, but it often rests on the surface — thin, unnoticed, frozen between one glance and another.
