From within the screaming red void, it reached upward—not for salvation, but for silence buried deep inside its own skull. Its fingers, sharp and knowing, gripped the strands of its own stillness and began to pull, thread by agonizing thread. Each line was a scream never voiced, each pull a memory choked before birth.
