I need your Light

I want to live and die only in your light; Only by your light... Your presence does something to me; slow, deep, impossible to ignore. It feels like a kind of rebirth every time you come close, as if my whole body remembers itself in ways it forgets when you’re gone. I’ve always felt stuck between wanting to be untouchable and knowing I’m painfully mortal, but the way your light moves over me makes that struggle dissolve. I feel both undone and remade. Your light is enough to remind me how to rise, how to be, who to be...!
