The Awakening Roar Of Damavand: The Return Of The King
In the dark ages, Zahhak the Serpent-King leaned on a throne of blood, and the cries of the youth fed the snakes upon his shoulders. The earth trembled under his tyranny, until at last Fereydun, child of light, rose with the liberating roar of Kaveh the blacksmith. The banner of Kaviani was lifted high, a terrible battle ignited, and in the end Fereydun dragged Zahhak down from his throne.
He did not kill him, for death would have been his escape. Instead, he bound the demon-king’s hands and feet with heavy chains, and carried him to the towering heights of Mount Damavand, the roof of the world. There, deep within the heart of the mountain, in a frozen and ancient cave, he imprisoned Zahhak forever، chained to rock and shadow, so the world would be freed from his evil, and the name of Fereydun would shine eternal in legend.
