Where the artwork actually lives. Fully on-chain art stores the image or its code inside the blockchain itself, so it lasts as long as the chain does. Most work is off-chain: the token is on-chain, but the file sits on IPFS, Arweave, or an artist's server. That is why files go dark, and why every original here was downloaded and kept.
