love might bring us back together

In June 2025 I had a hundred followers and no idea what I was doing. The number still looks small. It stopped being small a while ago.

When I started posting about art in June 2025, I had about a hundred followers. Most of them knew me from crypto gaming, not art. I was starting over in a room where nobody was waiting for me.

I posted anyway. Every day. The pieces I bought, the artists I found, GM and GN notes with a line about why art matters, whatever I actually believed that morning. I treated it the way I treat everything, like a stats problem you solve by showing up and measuring. Post, watch, keep what worked, do it again.

The numbers moved slower than you would think and faster than they had any right to. A hundred became six hundred and change by August. Eleven hundred in September. Two thousand by October. Three thousand three hundred and change by early 2026. If you have been on the internet, you know three thousand followers is small. Here is the part outsiders never see: the follower count is not the number that matters. Over December and January I put up five million impressions. That is five million times a piece of art I chose crossed someone's screen. It got big enough that I get paid to post now.

I say that not to brag about a small account, but because of what it means for the artists. Every one of those five million views was a work by someone I believe in, put in front of a stranger who would never have found it otherwise. That is the whole job. A collector who only fills a wallet is a buyer. A collector who can put a thousand eyes on an artist is doing something closer to what a gallery is for.

None of this was the plan. I did not set out to become a voice. I set out to collect art I liked and to be honest about why. It turns out that if you do that in public, every day, for long enough, people start to listen. This site is the next step: a permanent home for the work, so the art outlives the feed the same way it outlives the marketplace. If you found your way here from one of those posts, that is the point. Now go meet the artists.
