The Horizon of Ascension Someday—perhaps even very soon—I will ascend. Beneath the surface of a lake that appears calm, beneath this manifestation of serenity, a flame is certainly burning; yet its immeasurable abyss feels like an infinite space at absolute zero. Soon, I will ascend. At that time, my beloved friend who is always close by my side will likely already be there.
