Mentis Excessus

Cogitationis is a new direction in Jennifer Panepinto’s practice, a digital art collection that excavates the shifting terrain of time, memory, and nostalgia through AI-generated animation. Beginning with two looping video works built from custom image models, the series contemplates how recollection is engineered as a temporal loop, a visual echo that resists finality and instead lingers in perpetual reconsideration.
