Manhattan Minute

This artwork dares the viewer to look at it for only a mere minute. In an age of doom scrolling and art optimized for quick consumption, Vnderworld presents, "Manhattan Minute"; A maximalist retreat from mundane minimalism. At a whopping dimension of 13,824 by 13,824, the artwork portrays the chaos of America's business metropolis, Manhattan New York. Vnderworld leans into the absurdism of AI with a unique, one-of-a-kind process that embraces the artifacts and insanity of early AI models. The artist shies away from perfection and instead, seeks after the abnormalities generated from his AI models. About the process: Vnderworld only creates art with open source AI models. This piece was created with Flux Dev model utilizing Comfyui. On top of the base model, Vnderworld utilizes 9 concentrated models called Lora models. Some of these models were created by the artist himself and made from his older artwork, while others are community created. All models are free to use and available for public use run locally on your computer. The image is then upscaled through a series of upscale iterations across 3 different generations of Stable Diffusion models. The result, extreme detail across every square inch of the piece. Absurdism meets Maximalism in a digital mural large enough to fit on a Times Square billboard, not meant to be viewed on the small pixels of the phone screen.
