Human Engineered Art. Alexis André is a French generative artist and researcher whose practice moves between code and craft, between the blockchain and the loom, between Tokyo and Paris. With seven projects in the AB[500], from the timekeeping minimalism of *720 Minutes* to the community phenomenon of *Friendship Bracelets*, he has built a body of work that treats generative art as a discipline of engineering, narrative, and daily ritual.
